We look for compact and easy to carry stuff when going out for an adventure. We wish to carry minimum luggage including the essentials. A portable and compact cooking solution is what many look for, here are some stoves that will help.
Wrap stove
The Wrap stove is a cool stove that wraps up like a hand towel and is portable to the correct sense of the word. The strip stove has tiny button like magnets on it, these magnets stick to the vessel on which the wrap stove is wound. Food is cooked or warmed inside the vessel using the induction technology of the wrap stove. There is a tab bearing a touch screen at one end of the stove. Unfold the tab after wrapping the stove on to the vessel and it turns on. The temperature can be increased or decreased via the touch screen.

Designer Jeong Woo Hyeokhas created pebbles that help in warming food and cooking. These pebbles use induction technology. The set of these can be combined and placed under a vessel to cook food. What’s more interesting is that these pebbles will help the user beat the cold. The temperature of these can be lowered to make our body warm. The user can warm his feet, hands or chest with individual pebbles.

Although this camping stove uses the principles of a traditional firewood stove, it is portable and convenient to use. The user can burn small twigs or dry leaves in the combustion chamber. There is a cooking pot and a stand cum combustion chamber. The handles of the cooking pot are collapsible and the combustion chamber fits inside the cooking pot, in the inverse position, making the setup compact to carry. The pot is double layered, heat and gases enter inside the outer layer and make the pot hot quickly.
Biolite stove
The Biolite is small portable stove meant for the outdoors. There is a small chamber to put twigs and dry leaves to start a fire. The user can cook and warm food above this fire. The interesting part is that a small cylinder with a USB port attached to the heating chamber, converts the heat into electricity. The electricity produced is sufficient to charge your phone battery. The user will not have to worry about the dying battery in the camp, he can just plug his phone or tab in the USB port of the stove.
Being able to charge your phone in the middle of nowhere, along with getting heat for cooking and warming self is a cool solution. Likewise all the other stove have their merits and their small size and portability features would surely enhance your camping experience.
