Intended towards the digital single lens reflex camera market, Toshiba is planning to launch a new line of high performance CompactFlash memory cards, the EXCERIA PRO, which promise the best level3 read and write speeds in the world. Integrating Toshiba’s high performance NAND flash memory and dedicated firmware, the EXCERIA PRO CF cards are designed to meet the demands of the high-end DSLR market. Now users will be able to capture high resolution image, HD video recording and high speed data transfers to other devices.
Capable of achieving a read speed of 160MB/s and write speed of 150MB/s4, the highest level reported till now, the high performance memory cards are appropriate to the CompactFlash Association (CFA) standard CompactFlash Specification Revision 6.0. Compatible with the UDMA7 high speed interface to support quality DSLRs, the cards works with the latest Video Performance Guarantee standard, VPG-20, as well.
