Five really unusual and innovative USB hubs

Forget the days of looking at those boring stick like USBs sticking out of a hub at odd angles. Here are some cool USB Hubs that could give a fresh, creative look to an otherwise boring desktop cubicle.

Transformer Laptop USB Hub

This one literally takes the cake when it comes to innovation. The USB hub is designed like a laptop computer cum robot, and has four fully functional USB ports that can be used for systems running either the Windows or MAC operating systems.

The hub can be redesigned and has multiple joins that help it to adopt different poses to literally confuse everybody who walks by. If it resembles a robot at one instance, it would look like a laptop the next! So set this up on your desktop and grab some eyeballs!

The USB Hub Monster

Although not many like spiders, monster freaks would definitely love the USB Hub Monster that is shaped like a giant ‘six legged spider’. Each of the monster’s six limbs is highly adjustable, and contains an individual port for a USB, carrying the total count to six USBs that can be hooked onto the hub at the same time.

The Pig Buddies USB Hub

We kind of really liked this design and decided that it needed a mention here. The Pig Buddies USB Hub consists of a pink pig, which looks like it is lying down sideways. The side of the pig has 4 ports to which 4 USBs can be connected. However, the highlights of the entire design are the USB sticks themselves, which look like tiny piglets. When you hook them to the hub, it would look like a group of cute piglets feeding from their mother. Heights of innovation we would say!

The Airplane USB Hub

Another innovative design on the USB front! The Airplane USB Hub consists of a small sized airplane model with the wings housing the USB ports (two for each wings). The ports have been creatively built into the plane to look as if they were actually a part of the entire ensemble. Moreover, did we forget to mention the plane’s propeller that actually works as a fan and can be switched on or off by a button present above the cockpit? Moreover, real USB design enthusiasts would definitely be pleased by the sound the gadget makes (a jet engine during take-off) when it is connected to the computer.

The Skull USB Hub

We know at least a couple of individuals who would die to have this USB Hub in their cubicle. Shaped like a real skull, the USB Hub has four ports that can be used at the same time. It also has a hollow portion at the top where you can opt to despite your paper clips, bike/car keys or candy bars.
