Google touchscreen laptop

Taking on Apple’s Macbook range and Microsoft’s Surface Pro tablet, Google has come up with luxury laptop called the “Chromebook Pixel” that integrates a high resolution display to conceal individual pixels to the naked eye. Intended towards power users, the high end laptop also offers 1TB of free storage, on Google’s cloud service that is free for three years, on an online hard drive.

Featuring the highest resolution touchscreen ever incorporated in a laptop, the Chromebook Pixel makes use of Chrome OS derived from the Google’s web browser. Integrating Intel’s Ivy Bridge processors and fast 4G LTE connectivity, the new laptop touts 12.85in (32.64cm) display’s resolution with the highest pixel density (239 pixels per inch) offered by any laptop ever. Presenting 4.3 million pixels, the laptop’s display put forward sharp text, vibrant colors and wide viewing angles. Priced at £1049 ($1299), the Google’s Chromebook Pixel will be available by the end of this week.
