Custom made TLR Polaroid camera by Kevin Kadooka

Combining a Mamiya-Sekor 105mm f/3.5 Chrome from a C-series lens pair with a Polaroid back from a Mamiya Universal, designer Kevin Kadooka, an engineering student at the University of Portland, has come up with a custom made Polaroid Twin Lens Reflex (TLR) Camera that blends the ease of instant film with the delight of TTL viewing, such as TLR’s and SLR’s.

Made using laser cut birch plywood parts, the homemade TLR camera makes the most of the full 3.25 x 4.25 format, to make up for the Polaroid back, and enable it shoot Polaroids with minimum fuss. The custom made Polaroid camera might not look as sleek as a Rollei or a Yashica TLR, but if you consider its other functions, it is as good as any other TLR camera.
