CES 2013: Haier reintroduces its Brain Wave Smart TV

Haier Brain Wave Smart TV

We first saw the world’s first Brain Wave Smart TV from two years back at IFA 2011, which was also showcased at last year’s CES. Produced by Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Haier Electronics as a part of its Smart TV range, the Brain Wave TV interacts with the user through brain-computer interface headset that converts the monitored brainwaves into digital signals.

Developed in collaboration with NeuroSky, the Smart Control TV applications let the users focus or relax with hands-free control as well as a variety of precise concentration games. Ideal for disabled users, the brain-controlled TV allows users control concentration and relaxation abilities through entertainment applications.
