Freehand concept turns your beer can into a remote control

Reviving the form and ergonomics of the conventional remote control, ECAL student Cleo Jacquet has come up with a concept dubbed the “Freehand” that virtually turns anything into a remote to control your television. Featuring a pair of small buttons with suction cups that stick to any object and turn it into a remote control, the Freehand lets the user determine the shape of his/her remote.

You can stick the buttons wherever you like, on your drink, beer can, tablet, Smartphone and so on, and start using them as a remote to control the volume, channels and other functions on your television. Though, the Freehand concept looks too unrealistic to come into production anytime soon, still it gives a fare idea of the flexibility of gadgets being designed in the days to come.
