With the introduction of OLED displays, modern gadgets have become slim and sleek that instantly attracts trendy users. Utilizing the grace and flexibility of the OLED display, Futaba has come up with an elegant wristwatch concept that wraps around the wrist like a flexible hand band. Measuring just 0.22mm in thickness, the concept watch integrates 3.5 inches OLED display that offers the resolution of 256 x 64 pixels and brightness is 100cd/m2.
In addition, the trendy wrist watch comes with full color support, and lets the user stream and watch videos on their wrist, other than telling the time. Currently on display at the CEATEC show, the Futaba flexible OLED watch doesn’t seem to come into production anytime soon, as the company hasn’t revealed the major specifications or technological aspects of the futuristic watch.
