Looking for a daily dose of music to tickle your ear buds, Dr. Dre has come up with a Bluetooth speaker in the form of a pill to treat audiophiles in a soothing manner. Hailed as “Beats Pill,” the wireless speaker as the name indicates looks more like a medicinal pill than an audio accessory. Integrating aux-in jack and four drivers, the Bluetooth speaker not only offers amplifying sound but can also be used as a speakerphone.
Powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the Pill offers 8.5 hours of nonstop high quality music on a single charge. Priced at £170 ($276), the Beats Pill speaker is scheduled to be release around September 28th, 2012.
