While most of the big cellphone brands are looking to enhance the display of their phones, ZTE continues to stick with 5-inch screen in its latest China-only Nubia handset. Featuring IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the “Nubia Z5” also includes 1.5Ghz quad-core Qualcomm CPU, 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel camera with Flash and 2MP front-facing camera.
Designed to compete with HTC’s Butterfly / Droid DNA, and Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S4, the Z5 comes integrated with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) processor, 32GB of internal memory and 3,000 mAh battery to support your extended chatter.
Measuring 138 x 69.2 x 7.6 mm in dimensions, the ultra slim mobile phone just weighs 126 grams. Scheduled to retail from early January 2013 in China, the Nubia Z5 will be available for ¥3,456 (about $555) in white and black color options. If you are looking for high end titanium version of the Z5, you will have to spend ¥7,890 (about $1,265).
