CES 2013: Panasonic intros 20-inch 4K Windows 8 Tablet for professionals

Intended towards professionals, such as photographers, designers and architects, the 4K Windows 8 tablet from Panasonic packs some persuasive applications to assist the user in graphic design, video editing and architecture design. Integrating 3840 x 2160 pixels into a 20-inch frame, the 4K tablet also features an Intel Core i5-3427U 1.8GHz processor and NVIDIA GeForce graphics. Claimed to be the “lightest and thinnest” in the 20-inch category, the Windows 8 Tablet from Panasonic presents 4GB of RAM (up to 16GB supported) and a 128GB SSD.

Measuring 18.7 x 13.1 x 0.4 inches in dimensions, the 2.4 kg (5.3lbs) tablet includes microSDXC, single USB 2.0 port, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, together with an impressive front-facing 720p HD webcam. Though, you’ll have to do without the rear camera.  Supporting ten-finger multitouch, the new Panasonic tablet comes with an Anoto-powered digital pen to interpret documents or sketches and editing work. Though there is no word on pricing and availability, but the 4K Windows 8 Tablet is currently on display at the CES 2013 in Las Vegas.
