Livestream Studio HD500 is a portable, all in one video switcher

Entering the switcher market, Livestream introduced its upcoming all-in-one video switcher dubbed “the Studio HD500” that is sure to add an incredible value to your live events. Featuring up to 5 HD/SD SDI Inputs, digital video recorder (DVR) and player and 5 Live Video Outputs (HD/SD SDI, HDMI, Component, S-Video, Composite), the new portable hardware product also allows live video mixing for multi-camera productions, graphics overlay and titling, live audio mixing and single-click live streaming.

Moreover, you can use the Studio HD500 with other competitors, like YouTube and Ustream, as it has managed to come out of the shadow of Livestream’s site. Slipping elegantly in a compact case, about the size of a carry bag, the portable device is easy to carry and use anywhere, anytime. All you need to do is remove the unit from the case and plug in your cameras.

Integrating a pair of Blackmagic Design DeckLink cards for central inputs and outputs and 17″ 1920×1200 resolution monitor, the video switcher also boasts the Windows 7, six-core 3.2GHz Intel Core i7 processor with 8GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce GT 520 graphics card to enhance the experience of the users.

Scheduled to be shipped from October 15, 2012 for $8,500, the Studio HD500 is sure to make the established manufacturers of live broadcast and editing systems, such as NewTek’s TriCaster, a run for their money.
