Shaka wind meter helps you track that perfect gust of wind

Named Shaka, the wind meter has specifically been designed to assist seafarers, avid surfers and kiteboarders through their adventures at sea.

The wind meter – a plastic fan actually that relies on a dedicated app to display wind speed and direction – plugs into your iPhone’s 3.5mm jack. All you need to do is hold the meter in your hand, and allow it to track the wind speed and share measurements via Twitter, Facebook or other social networks. Moreover, you can keep record of the right location for windsurfing and overly the same on a map to be more sea-friendly. Soon, you would see it tethered to Android and Windows Phone compatible devices as well.
